pawsinpark

Flooding drenched our plans for Paws in the Park but has not dampened our spirits! We're adapting our traditional Paws in the Park and supporting our strays with "Phantom Paws." The City of Parkville has confirmed that the parks will not be in usable condition for our festival. We're working out full details for Phantom Paws and will announce more soon. You can count on the swag bag, you can count on your FOPAS 20th Anniversary t-shirt, and you can count on our appreciation as we adjust our sails a bit this year. Stay tuned....

meet our mascot - dover!

This beautiful girl has been searching for her forever home for over a year. See below for more information and a few pictures of this sweet girl!

Dover is a female mixed breed dog; we are not sure just what genes make up this gorgeous girl. Dover's estimated DOB is 10/2015 so she is probably fully grown at her her current weight of 80 pounds. However, she is a tall and strong girl, so a lot of that 80 pounds is definitely muscle. Dover is slightly shy when she first meets people, but that is very short lived. She really likes people and wants to be a companion. Dover is a good runner and, as previously stated, is tall and athletic, so a short fence may not contain her. While she likes some other dogs, she is particular about her canine friends and would not do well at a dog park. Here is a young girl who very much wants to be part of a loving family.
