This year is the 25th anniversary of Friends of Parkville Animal Shelter, and we're celebrating all year!

Founded in 1999, FOPAS has been providing care and finding permanent homes for the dogs and cats in our care ever since. Our ability to complete our mission is primarily accomplished through the generosity of volunteers and donors like you. And because we love a theme here at FOPAS, this year's theme is all about "25" to commemorate our big anniversary.

Here's how you can join in on the fun: Every month on the 25th, we will start a fundraiser with a chance for donors to win a custom pet portrait! The fundraiser will last for 25 days.

For each $25 you donate during this 25-day fundraiser, you will receive one entry into the drawing. So, the more you donate, the more chances you have to win. All you have to do is donate and we will do the rest of the work!

Once the monthly fundraiser closes, we will randomly draw 2 winning tickets from the entries and those donors will receive an artist rendering of a pet! The winning donors will be contacted to coordinate the development of their art--typically completed within 90 days. You will supply a photo and an artist will be selected who will create a masterpiece in the medium of their choice. (Winners can pick up the finished artwork locally for no additional cost. Shipping can be provided for an additional $15.)

With each monthly fundraiser, we start over and new donations will give you chances to win for the following month. 

Note: In an effort to give as many donors as possible a chance to win, we are limiting the number of times the same donor can win throughout the year. Once a donor has won 2 times, they will no longer be eligible to win additional custom pet portraits in the drawings. 

The last 25th anniversary fundraiser will take place in December and, for the season of giving, we will draw tickets for 3 winners!

That makes 25 portraits total, celebrating our 25 years. Fun, right?
