Featured Cat - PEPE LE PEW!

Hi! My name is Pepe Le Pew. However, I am NOT an odor-able skunk – I am a beautiful, long-haired calico cat. I had lived with my wonderful owner for 12 years, but then she had children. As they grew older – I think you humans call it the “terrible twos” – I became very unhappy and depressed. My owner loved me so, but she also did not like what was happening to me, so she surrendered me to a shelter (she cried all the way there). The shelter is very nice, but I am also unhappy here.

I need a quiet home with a cat savvy patient person who will give me the space and time to trust again. I am playful and really love the string toys and ball track. I am a sweet kitty but must learn to trust you and feel safe in my new environment. I promise to add beauty, joy, and love to your life if you let live out my remaining years with you – which could be several!

Pepe is hyperthyroid. She will need to be on thyroid medication the rest of her life. She will also need bloodwork done every year to check her thyroid levels. Pepe came to us with 4 broken k9 teeth and a broken jaw. All 4 k9 teeth had to be extracted. Pepe is not on a special diet.

DOB 8/21/2012
