Featured Dog -MIA!

Updated: Oct 23

Meet Mia! She is a sweet Shepherd mix girl with an approximate DOB of April 2019. She came to us because the shelter she was located at was flooded in the recent storms. She ended up there because her owner passed away. Mia was very loved which was shown to her with food. This girl needs to lose some weight! We will be working with her at the shelter (lots of walking for this girl) and a potential adopter should be continuing her on the way to weight loss as the her current weight is bad for her joints and her health in the future. She enjoys walks very much. She seems to have gotten attached to the dog she came in with from the other shelter as whenever that dog leaves for a walk and Mia stays behind, she starts howling. She would probably be able to get attached to another dog as well if the family already has another dog. She deserves to find her furever family after the loss of her family.
